TOMI M. THOMPSON

Tomi Murray Thompson, 60, of the 1000 block of Cherokee Road, died March 22, 1996.

She was a native of Henderson, N.C., and the wife of George G. Thompson Jr. She was the former head of the lingerie department at Smith & Welton.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Royal of Columbia, Md.; son, David Scott Thompson of Oaxaco, Mexico; sister, Ethel Jones of Suffolk; three brothers, Thurman Murray of Suffolk, Thomas Murray and Edgar Murray, both of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Michael Royal; and special friend, Bunny.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
