Harvey L. Williams, 70, of the 1500 block of Palmetto St., died April 20, 1996, at a local hospital.
Mr. Williams, a retired warehouseman, worked for Sandler Foods. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Knotts of Vermont; his mother, Beatrice M. Gatlin of Norfolk; a sister, Versie Phillips of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Tramarr Knotts and Tranee Knotts, both of Vermont; son-in-law, Travis Knotts of Vermont; and a special friend, Elouise Harris of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Bobbie Boyd in Roosevelt Memorial Park. There will be a wake service Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Graves Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 2504 Tait Court.
