Ralph Luxford Ferebee Sr., 81, of the 3500 block of Executive Center Drive, died April 22, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Ferebee, a native of Princess Anne County, was a retired owner of an automobile supply company. He was a member of Cradock United Methodist Church, Portsmouth, Lake Drummond Masonic Lodge (NU)178, and Tall Cedars (NU)148. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Eleanor Ferebee; a son, Ralph L. Ferebee Jr. and his wife, Dianne Spence Ferebee, of Chesapeake; two brothers, Charles E. Ferebee of Yorktown, John Page Ferebee of West Chazy, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Michael Robbins and the Rev. Jim Powell at Cradock United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Maryview Wellspring Home Care or to Cradock United Methodist Church.
