ANNE BEAMAN REAMS

Anne Beaman Reams, 69, died in Saskatchewan, Canada, on Sunday, April 21, 1996.

Mrs. Reams was the youngest child of the late John Branch Sr. and Mrs. Sallie Dunning Beaman. She will be remembered for her beautiful voice that has graced many Tidewater churches. She was a former member of Freemason Street Baptist Church and a charter member of the Sarah Constant Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Surviving are her husband, Dr. Leroy Reams; a son, Steward Gibson Jr.; four sisters, Elizabeth B. Saunders and Ellen B. Beamon, both of Norfolk, Jessie B. Fischer of Chesapeake and Mrs. Sarah Lee B. White of Ennis, Texas; three brothers, Thomas G. Beaman of Salem, Robert D. Beaman and Winfield S. Beaman of Norfolk.

Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle Church of Norfolk, Granby at Thole Street. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Rich Hardison. Friends may join the family following the services. The family has asked that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
