Martha ``Marty'' Emerick, 55, died April 22, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Emerick, a native of Detroit, Mich., was a member of Foundry United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William G. Emerick Sr.; three daughters, Catherine Freeman and Cynthia Jenks of Chesapeake, Amy Woolford of Columbia, S.C.; a son, William G. Emerick Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Edith Ives of Newberry Park, Calif., Maryann Moak of Roscommons, Mich.; a brother, Richard V. Krug of California; and five grandchildren, Joseph Freeman, Noelle Freeman, Stephen Jenks, Daniel Jenks, and Fallon Woolford.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. James L. Mahaffy. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
