Evelyn Anderson, of the 1100 block of George Washington Highway, died April 21, 1996, in Brent-Lox Nursing Center.
She worked as a domestic and was a native of Norfolk. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Anderson of Lynchburg, Va.; two brothers, Albert Anderson of New York City, Clarence Anderson of Norfolk; and a sister-in-law, Clara L. Anderson.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by Dr. Raymond Dean in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Burial is in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. The remains will be ready for viewing Thursday at 3 p.m. The family will assemble at 6629 Glenoak Drive, Norfolk at noon for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is in charge.
