Genevieve R. Grigg, 82, died April 22, 1996, in a local hospital.
She had worked as a secretary at the Naval Air Station until her retirement. She was the widow of Wilbur Edward Grigg and was a native of Colton, N.Y. Mrs. Grigg was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith M. Lampkin of Norfolk; sister, Dorothy Hopson of Virginia Beach; brother, William Reihl Jr. of Colton; three grandchildren, Jimmy Cordle Jr. of Virginia Beach, Nancy Cordle of Chesapeake and Michael Cordle of Connecticut; four great-grandchildren; and faithful friends, Dora Zember and Peggy Kilgore.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
