Suffolk police ask help to find the person responsible for stealing city equipment.
On April 11, someone entered the bay door of Fire Station No. 2, in the 100 block of Walnut St., and removed a Motorola portable radio from fire gear hanging in the station. The radio is very expensive but of no use to the person who took it, police say.
If you know who may have taken the radio or its whereabouts, call Suffolk Crime Line at 539-1222.
Information leading to an arrest may bring a cash reward up to $1,000. When calling Crime Line, you do not have to give your name. Nor must you testify in court on information you provide. by CNB
