Shelton Deventon Game, 66, died April 24, 1996, in Portsmouth.
He was a retired pipefitter for the Local Pipefitters Union (NU)110. Mr. Game was a native of Johnson County, N.C., and was a country music entertainer.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Game of Newport News; two sons, Gordon Game of Portsmouth, Douglas Game of Gloucester, Va.; sister, Susan Ann Moore of Gainesville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Allen Ennis of Portsmouth, Chris Clary, Rachel Game and Douglas Game Jr., all of Gloucester.
A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Richard L. Polston in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends at the home of Gordon Game, 4013 Greenway Court, Portsmouth, today from 7 to 9 p.m. Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge.
