CHESAPEAKE - Aza Lenore Brooks, 25, a student, of the 3200 block of Drawbridge Court, died April 23, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Colorado Springs, Colo., and was a member of Deep Creek Church of Christ Disciples and former choir member. She was also a member of IBPOE of W. Gardenia Temple (NU)720.
She is survived by a daughter, Jasmin Brooks; mother, Sharon Brooks Belin; father, Harold Barksdale; three brothers, Junius Bynum of Virginia Beach, Felix Brooks III and Shawn Belin, both of Norfolk; grandmother, Clara Belin; stepfather, Bob Belin and an aunt, Beverly Brown.
A funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday by Elder Robert D. Ross in Deep Creek Church of Disciples, 1956 Burson Drive, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge.
