Zeta Daniels Tillett, 85, died Friday April 26, 1996, at her residence.
She was born in Wanchese and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Manteo Chapter Order of the Eastern Star (NU)79 and Bethany United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Alexander Jake Daniels and the late Nettie Cudworth Daniels and the wife of the late Jennings Bryan ``Toby'' Tillett.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret T. Daniels of Manteo and Dianne T. Meekins of Columbus, Ga.; a sister, Lucille D. Midgett of Wanchese; four grandchildren, Gary Page Meekins, Scott Meekins and Mark Williams, all of Atlanta, and Stephen Williams of Winston-Salem; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church, Wanchese, N.C., Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Billy Holliday officiating. Burial will be in Cudworth Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and other times at the residence on E.R. Daniels Road, Wanchese. Twiford Funeral Home, Manteo, is in charge.
