Nellie M. Davis, 88, of the 1200 block of Colonial Ave., died April 27, 1996, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Davis, a homemaker, was born in Glen Burnie, Md. She was the widow of Richard A. Davis Sr. and was a member of Fairmont Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Rose Marie Cobb, Helen V. Graham and Irma L. Moore; three sons, Richard A. Davis Jr., George F. Davis and Frank B. Davis; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Ernest Roebuck and the Rev. Donald Joyner. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
