Edward C. Roche, 69, died April 28, 1996, in his home.
He was a retired warehouse salesman for Glidden Company. Mr. Roche was a native of Wheaton, Md. and was a Marine veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Veterans Association of the U.S.S. Iowa and American Legion Post (NU)204.
He is survived by his wife, Betty B. Roche; daughter, Kathryn Roche Harris of Norfolk; son, Edward C. Roche Jr. of North Carolina; sister, Mary R. Bradley of Maryland; brother, Robert Roche of Maryland; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
