HOWARD A. JAMESON

Lt. Col. Howard A. Jameson, 83, died Monday, April 29, 1996.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., he had been a resident of Pittsburgh, Pa., most of his life. He retired from Mesta Machine Co. as an engineer after an Army career of 35 years. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie B. Jameson; a daughter, Kathryn Wolf Steinberg of Portsmouth; a brother, Don Jameson of Pittsburgh; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Dan Jameson.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 1996, in the Fort Meyers Chapel, Arlington, Va. Burial will follow in Arlington National Cemetery. Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
