Lockett of Chesapeake; three uncles, William Carpenter of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Russel and Elijah Ford of Burlington, N.C.; five aunts, Thelma Braint, Daisy Scott, and Thelma Blackman, all of Rocky Point, N.C., Louise Brewington of Montclair, N.J.; and Mable Howard of Wilmington, N.C. Charlotte is also remembered by a host of cousins, neighbors and friends.

A funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday by Dr. Theodore R. Little Jr. in Dome of Canaan Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Riddick Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
