Marianne Bingham Pearson Maccaroni, 50, former assistant director of the Medical Record Department of Prince William Hospital, died of a brain stem tumor at 11:08 p.m. on April 29, 1996, in her home in Burke, Va.
Mrs. Maccaroni grew up in Knoxville and Hagerstown, Md., and graduated from Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C., in 1967. She lived in Virginia Beach from 1967 to 1975 and lived in Burke since then. She was a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church in Springfield and the American Health Information Management Association and did volunteer work in both of these organizations.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Ronald; her sons, Michael and Matthew; her father, Robert Pearson of Miami, Fla.; a sister, Tillie Smith of Ft. Pierce, Fla; and three brothers, Stephen Pearson of Knoxville, Md., Kent Pearson of Gardena, Calif., and Lloyd Pearson of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, Marianne asked that donations be given to Catawba College, 2300 W. Innes St., Salisbury, N.C. 28144 in memory of Marianne Pearson Maccaroni, or to any charity of choice in her memory.
