Grand larceny, 2900 block Ames Cove, April 21, someone removed a gold necklace with a 3-inch gold coin in a lion's head design. The lion had a diamond in each eye and a ruby in the nose.
Breaking and entering, 4200 block Caldron Avenue, April 22, someone forced open the kitchen door of a residence. A garbage can was moved.
Lost/stolen, 6000 block Camellia Drive, April 22, someone reports a Suffolk city decal lost or stolen.
Breaking and entering, 4700 block Sleepy Hole Road, April 22, someone entered a business by breaking a window. A safe was broken into and $300-$500 removed.
Petty larceny, 5500 block Townpoint Road, April 22, someone reports her 30-day tags removed from her vehicle.
Lost/stolen, 4100 Pughsville Road, April 24, someone removed an Audiovox cellular phone from a locked vehicle.

Breaking and entering, 4100 block Godwin Blvd., April 18, someone entered a business office and removed cash.
Breaking and entering, 2800 block Pruden Blvd., April 20, people were observed removing boxes from a white trailer and placing them in a U-Haul truck. The padlock was cut from the rear doors to enter the trailer.
Grand larceny, 1000 Litton Lane, April 22, someone removed a burgundy, 4-door, '95 Honda Accord from a parking lot.
DISTRICT C
Destruction of property, 100 block Saratoga St., April 18, someone used a long metal pole to break the plate glass window of a business. A vehicle on the property was also damaged.
Armed robbery, 300 block Washington St., April 19, someone approached two men and offered to pay them $2 for a ride home. The driver later pulled over, produced a gun and demanded money. The driver talked with his companion about shooting the victim and leaving him in the woods. Eventually, the rider was struck in the face, his money and wallet removed and he was dumped out of the vehicle.
Armed robbery, 400 block Railroad Ave., April 20, a man was approached by two others dressed in dark clothing and wearing ski masks. They pointed a gun at him and demanded, ``Give me what you got.'' They removed two gold chains before running off.
Petty larceny, 800 block West Washington St., April 20, someone removed a burgundy and gold, Roadmaster 26-inch, 18-speed mountain bike from the side of a building, where it had been chained to a post.
Hit and run, 200 block West Constance Road, April 21, someone reports that a vehicle struck her car and left without stopping.
Grand larceny, 200 block South Broad St., April 21, someone removed a tackle box and 30 rods and reels from a garage.
Unauthorized use, 2500 block Pruden Blvd., April 22, someone rented a black, '96 Dodge Neon coupe but did not return it.
Grand larceny, 400 block Carolina Road, April 24, someone left a 4-door, '94 Chrysler New Yorker in front of a store with the keys in it. When he returned, the vehicle was gone.

Destruction of property, 200 block Grace St., April 18, someone kicked open the door of a residence.
Vandalism, 200 block Grace St., April 19, someone shattered a car windshield, causing $300 in damage.
Grand larceny, 200 block South Main St., April 19, someone removed a blue, 26-inch, man's 15-speed Huffy bicycle from a porch.
Lost/stolen, 800 block Portsmouth Blvd., April 19, someone noticed that her Ford Visa credit card was missing from her wallet. She had previously left her purse at her work station while changing clothes.
Petty larceny, 60 block Stacey Drive, April 20, someone removed a red and black, 5-speed Road Master bicycle from a residence.
Petty larceny, 400 block East Washington St. Someone took beer from a grocery store without paying for it.
Grand larceny, 100 block North Lloyd St., April 24, someone entered a yard and removed two Rottweiler puppies from an unlocked shed.
Grand larceny, 1100 block Nansemond Parkway, April 24, someone removed a Magic Chef refrigerator, a Magic Chef stove, a compressor, an air conditioning unit, a thermostat and a light fixture.

False police report, 10000 block Wildwood Drive, April 21, someone reported a stolen vehicle. However, police later found it overturned in a ditch, and the owner admitted filing a false report.
Petty larceny, 10000 block Camp Pond Road, April 22, a Nokia cellular phone was lost or stolen at a construction site. by CNB
