The westbound side of the Lesner Bridge, which spans Lynnhaven Inlet
on Shore Drive, is being resurfaced. Traffic in both directions is
being funneled to the eastbound side, causing some backups at rush
hour. Resurfacing of both sides of the bridge is to be completed by
Memorial Day. Unfortunately, the work could not be done during the
winter's lighter traffic period because it had to wait until warmer
weather.
