Eula Cregger Hudgins, 89, of the 5600 block of Canterbury Lane, died at a local hospital on May 1, 1996. She was born in Bluefield, W. Va., and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel F. Hudgins Sr.; her parents, Albert and Ollie Cregger, and a grandson.
She is survived by a daughter, Juanita H. Taylor of Suffolk, and two sons, Lionel F. Hudgins Jr. of Ocala, Fla., and Kent T. Hudgins Sr. of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 6, from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 1885 Bridge Road, in Suffolk. The Rev. Roger Jackle will preside over the services, which will be held at the same location on Tuesday, May 7, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Garden.
Flowers may be sent to Altmeyer Funeral Home, 7518 Sewells Point Road, Norfolk, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bennett's Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge.
