Minnie Main Bell Jennings, 79, formerly of 1118 W. William Circle, died Tuesday, May 7, 1996, in the Albemarle Hospital.
She was a native of Greenville, N.C., and lived at 113 Beechtree Drive, Shiloh, N.C. She was the retired owner of Carolina Printing Co. She was a member of The First Baptist Church and the Elizabeth City Lions Club Auxiliary. Mrs. Jennings was the daughter of the late Louis Selig Bell Sr. and Allie Rives Bell and the widow of Willard Mac Jennings.
Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Berry of Shiloh, Mary Temple of Four Oaks, N.C., and Patricia Longoria of Seabrook, Texas; two sisters, Eloise S. Bell of Belvidere, N.C., Allie B. Hartman of Albany, Ore.; two brothers, Edward P. Bell of North Wilkesboro, N.C., and Louis S. Bell Jr. of Elizabeth City; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in New Hollywood Cemetery, Elizabeth City, by the Rev. John Luton. Visitation will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, and at other times the family will be at 113 Beechtree Drive, Shiloh.
