Roderick Humphries, 47, died Monday May 6, 1996.
He was born in Norfolk on Feb. 21, 1949, the son of Dorothy Johnson Wynn and the late Earl Humphries Sr. He was employed at Southgate Trucking Company for the last 12 years.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Humphries; four children, Keisha Humphries Jordan and husband, Stacey Jordan, of Virginia Beach, Allen Jenkins of New York, Vernell Dolberry and wife, Michelle Dolberry of Virginia Beach, Darnell Dolberry and wife, Cheryl Dolberry of Cambridge, Md.; his mother, Dorothy Johnson Wynn; a brother, Earl Humphries III; a sister, Jackie Humphries; two grandchildren, Dominique and Vernell Dolberry; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral which will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. Entombment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
