Isadore S. Shorr, 81, formerly of the 900 block of Armfield Circle, a retired clothier in California and Norfolk, died May 7, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Shorr was a native of Los Angeles, Calif., and a resident of Tidewater since 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Mollen Shorr of Norfolk; a daughter, Suzanne Giambatista of Santa Monica, Calif.; a son, Joel Shorr and his wife Sharon of Modesto, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Rae Stein and her husband Bernard of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Giambatista, Alan Stein, Marc Stein and Ilene Stein and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Elliott M. Marmon. Following the interment the family will receive friends until 9 p.m. in the meeting room of the Cove Point Condominiums, Bldg A., 700 Oriole Drive, Virginia Beach, Va. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, will be handling the arrangements.
