ROSE S. GUTTERMAN

Rose S. Gutterman, 84, of the 330 block of Brambleton Ave., a vice president of Gutterman Iron and Metal Corp., died May 8, 1996, at her residence.

Mrs. Gutterman was a native of New York City. She was the widow of Norman Gutterman and was preceded in death by her grandson, Sean Gutterman. She was a member of B'Nai Isreal Congregation and Beth El Temple in Norfolk.

Survivors include one daughter, Elayne, and her husband, Jeffrey Littman, of Chesapeake; three sons, Malcom Gutterman, and his wife, Maida, of Virginia Beach, Robert Gutterman, and his wife, Audrey, of Norfolk, Herbert Gutterman, and his wife, Carol, of Norfolk; one sister, Helen Epstein of White Plains, N.Y.; one brother, Jack Silver of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Shari Berman, and her husband, Bruce, Adam Gutterman, Stephanie Banks, and her husband, Randall, Meredith Littman, Stacey Gutterman, Darren Littman, Charles Berger, and Christina Berger, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, 1996, at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Yosef Friedman and Rabbi Israel Bornstein. Memorial donations may be to Jewish Family Services, B'Nai Israel Synagogue, or to the Hebrew Academy of Tidewater. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
