Josephine P. Byrum, 76, of the 800 block of Pacific Ave., died May 9, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church and was a native of Terracina, Italy.
She is survived by her husband, John T. Byrum Sr.; a daughter, Emily Sue Byrum of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a son, John T. Byrum Jr. of Chesapeake; a sister of Italy; and a grandson, James Andrew Byrum.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday by Father James C. Griffin in Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Avisitation will be Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 1605 Hydenwood Crescent, Chesapeake, and at other times.
