Benjamin Franklin ``Ben'' Davis, 60, of the first block of Manly St., died May 6, 1996.
Mr. Davis was retired from the Supply Department of NNSY. He was a native of Portsmouth and a member of St. Mark Baptist Missionary Church. He was a member of USAF, Elks, and DAV.
Survivors include a daughter, Bridgett Hawkins of Maryland; four sons, Donnell, Calvin, Mike, and Grover Massenburg, all of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Nannie Faulks; three brothers, Thomas Davis, William Davis and Leon Davis; 40 nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary E. Davis and John A. Davis.
The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 1996, at St. Marks Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in Lincoln Cemetery. Rodgers Funeral Home is in charge.
