Customers buying beer and wine at the upcoming Brew Thru in
Virginia Beach will be able to drive into the building and place
orders while seated in their vehicles.
To pay for alcoholic beverages, they must get out of the car
while it is in the building and walk to a cashier. The procedure was
described wrongly in a MetroNews story Saturday.
The last names of Tom Reeves and his sons, Ben and Paul Reeves,
were wrong in an article about a 4-H livestock show. The story
appeared in a promotional supplement to the Chesapeake Clipper
Sunday about Jubilee '96.
The Virginia Lottery listing in Monday's paper had several
errors. For Friday, the winning Pick 3 night number should have been
1-4-3; the winning Pick 4 day number 9-5-2-6, and the winning night
number 8-2-3-6. Also, the winning Cash 5 number for Friday was
wrong; it should have been 7-17-22-30-32.
A MetroNews story last Friday said incorrectly that Councilwoman
Marian ``Bea'' Rogers represents the Driver area in Suffolk.
Councilman Richard R. Harris represents the part of Driver that is
in the Nansemond Borough. That includes the former Driver Radio
Transmitter Facility, the topic of the story.
Virginia Beach School Board member Donald F. Bennis attended the
College of William and Mary School of Law but did not earn a law
degree there. Listings in the May 5 edition of the Virginia Beach
Beacon and May 7 edition of The Virginian-Pilot contained errors. by CNB
