Remember the days when living in the White House was the pot at the end of the rainbow, which everyone sought?
Nowadays, who wants it? Sure it is a beautiful house with breathtaking furniture and gardens, but what about the price of living there?
You must be willing to have your entire past examined with a microscope to see if you did anything scandalous. Every waking moment you will have to contend with the media asking you everything about everything. You will have no private life.
It is awful that such a thing would happen to such a prestigious position. A new house anyone?
