Morris Soroko, 85, of the 800 block of First Colonial Road, a retired butcher, died May 17, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mr. Soroko was a native of Russia. He was a member of Ohef Sholom Temple in Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Soroko; a daughter, Lana Soroko of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Stephen and David Soroko, both of Los Angeles; two sisters, Gertrude Brown of Baltimore, Md., and Deborah Rosen, of Miami, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 20, 1996, in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Lawrence A. Foreman. Memorial donations may be made to Ohef Sholom Temple. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, will be handling arrangements.
