Police suspect one man is responsible for three recent armed robberies:
The Signet Bank branch on Diamond Springs Road at Wesleyan Drive was robbed at 10:15 a.m. on April 23.
Albano Cleaners in the Providence Square Shopping Center was robbed at 2:30 p.m. on May 9.
The First Virginia Bank branch on Princess Anne Road at South Parliament Drive was robbed at 9:30 a.m. on May 10.
The man is described as black, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 8 and 170 pounds, with a medium build. He had a mustache and goatee. He wore a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, and a tan brimmed fishing hat. NORFOLK
Police found two men dead in a home in the 200 block of 26th St. at 11 a.m. on April 26. Officers were called on a report that someone had been injured.
The victims were identified as Gerald Williams, 22, and Anthony Hunter, 22, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.
The deaths were ruled homicides, but the cause is being withheld.
Nathan Parker, 36, of the 9600 block of First Bay St., is wanted for probation violation. He also goes by the name of Melvin Lee Parker. CHESAPEAKE
Several vehicles in the 3000 block of Bunch Walnuts Road were vandalized and broken into during the late evening of May 10.
Numerous items, from car stereos to cassette tapes, were stolen.
Several white males were seen running from the crime scene. HAMPTON
On May 10 at 12:45 a.m., a lone man entered the Super 8 Motel in the 1300 block of Thomas St., went to the counter, pointed a black pistol at the clerk and demanded money.
The suspect is described as black, in his mid-30s, 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium complexion and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
