Margaret Edwards Murphy, 71, of Cobbs Creek, passed away May 21, 1996.
She was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Norfolk.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. William F. Murphy, retired pediatrician of Norfolk; a daughter, Mary Margaret Stevens of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Capt. William (Frank) F. Murphy of London, and Samuel G. Murphy of Chads Ford, Pa.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 1996, at Christ Episcopal Church. Donations should be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters at Community Relations, 601 Childrens Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23507 and to Lee's Friends at 618 Stockley Gardens Norfolk, Va. 23507. Funeral arrangements are being made by Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home in Mathews, Va.
