Esther Holcomb Elliott Crisanti, 78, died Monday, May 27, 1996, in Florida.
She was the widow of the late Joseph Crisanti and a devoted member of the United Methodist Church. As a member of the Edenton United Methodist Church, she spent many years as the choir director, while forming and directing the children's choir. She was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the United Methodist Women's Club, former member of the board of trustees, and held several offices in the administrative council. As a member of the United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda, she was a member of the choir and was involved in care giving, and was just commissioned into the Stephen Lay Care Ministry.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Dorothy Ketterer of New Jersey; a stepson, Joseph Crisanti Jr. of New Jersey; a niece and three nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Beaver Hill Cemetery in Edenton, N.C. by the Rev. Stan Smith. Memorials can be made to the Edenton United Methodist Church. Evans Funeral Home is in charge.
