PAULINE C. PEEDIN

Pauline Clarke Peedin, 68, of 4436 Hinsdale St., died Tuesday, May 28, 1996, in her home.

Mrs. Peedin, a native of Bishop Auckland, England, was a member of the Catholic church, and served in The English Royal Navy (W.R.E.N.) 1945-1950. She was a former president of CPO Club in Patuxent River, Md., former president of Virginia Beach British Wives Club, former president of Golden Units Wives Club, Khedive Temple, and an active fundraiser for the Shriners Crippled Children Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, E. Earl Peedin; a daughter, Christine M. Wright of Moyock, N.C.; son, David E. Peedin of Jacksonville, Fla., and seven beloved grandchildren, Tina, Crystal, Rachel, Nicole, Sarah, Jeremy, Tara, and a great-granddaughter, Caityn. In England, her mother, Mary Ellen Clarke; two sisters, Maureen Nichelson and Margaret Keeble; three brothers, Peter Clarke, Bernard Clarke, and John Clarke.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, Virginia Beach. The service will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 3 p.m. by Father Joseph A. Ceriello. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Cancer Society.
