Clyde J. ``Breckie'' Breckinridge, 97, of the 700 block of Kingston Drive, died May 27, 1996, in her residence.
She was a native of Danville, Va., and the widow of Alfred Breckinridge and was a Christian.
Survivors include her daughter, June, and her husband, Gene Bolick of Virginia Beach; a son, Charles L., and his wife, Helen Breckinridge of Farmville, Va.; two sisters, Beulah Jackson of Danville, Va., and Nadine Moore of Hopewell, Va.; five grandchildren, Donald Bolick, Leslie B. Foster, and Lynne B. Gaskill of Virginia Beach, Beth Jackson and Thad Breckinridge of Farmville; and eight great-grandchildren. Deceased is a grandson, Tommy Breckinridge.
Visitation for family and friends will be today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Weymouth Funeral Home Chapel, Newport News, with interment to follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
