WRECK VICTIM DIES

A Suffolk man injured in a traffic accident earlier this month has died.

Ronald D. Lewis, 38, of the 100 block of Fairfield Drive, died Friday of injuries he received May 6 in an accident on Holland Road. Police said he was driving westbound on the four-lane highway when his pickup was struck by an eastbound car.

Police said the car's driver, Kimberly Y. Brown, 20, of the 9500 block of 25th Bay, Norfolk, apparently lost control of her Honda Accord, which ran into the median and flipped over, landing on the front of Lewis' pickup.

At the time of the accident, Brown was charged with reckless driving.
