AN ALCOHOL-FREE GAME?

I went to a Tides game recently at Harbor Park. I was not surprised to see that it is a smoke-free place, as most public places are these days. Even though I am a smoker, it does not upset me that I cannot sit in my seat and smoke while I watch the game. What does bother me is to see that fans can sit there from start to finish and have beer after beer and then get in their cars and drive home!

How many people am I putting at risk by smoking at an outdoor ball park? I'm sure the fans who sit there putting down one beer after another are putting more people at risk than my secondhand smoke.

Remember: Drinking and driving don't mix!
