Ruth B. Dildy, of the 200 block of East 27th St., died May 27, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Norfolk and a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She was the daughter of the late Mary E. Dildy and James H. Dildy Sr.
Survivors include three brothers, James H. Dildy Jr. of Buffalo, N.Y., Israel Dildy of Hampton and John W. Dildy of Norfolk; her stepfather, Junice Bower; two sisters-in-law, Cynthia Dildy of Norfolk and Viola Dildy of Buffalo, N.Y.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. A wake will be held today from 7 to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble on Friday at noon at 3615 Wedgefield Ave.
