James Henry Creekmore, 81, of the Cradock section of Portsmouth, died May 29, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Creekmore, a native of Portsmouth, was a retired rigger from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Shop 72.
Survivors include his companion, Nina T. Hughes, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Olive Branch Cemetery by Father James Dorson. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
