Irma Darden, 87, of the 1800 block of Cullen Ave., died May 28, 1996.
She was born in Bertie County, N.C.
Survivors include three daughters, Melba Jackson of Chesapeake, Rebecca Clark of Norfolk and Shirley Poke of Richmond; a son, Gene Riddick of Chesapeake; 23 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 47 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in New Central Baptist Church, Berkley. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake in charge.
