Sherry Gayle Caravello, 43, earned her wings on Thursday, May 30, 1996.
She was born Jan. 14, 1953, in Dallas to Jack L. and Lillian Colbath Burnett.
Survivors include her husband, Lin Caravello; her mother and stepfather, Lillian and Joe McMurtrey of Gloucester, Va.; her father and stepmother, Jack and Pam Burnett of Bastrop; her adopted parents, Lenny and Jane Banks of Elizabeth City, N.C.; sisters, Trina, Eva, Aleta, Alisa and Suzy; brothers, Stan and Warren; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today in Oak Hill Cemetery near McDade, Texas, under the direction of Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home, Bastrop.
