MARY A. KENDALL

Mary A. Kendall, 53, formerly of Green Bay, Wis., died May 31, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Kendall was a native of Boston and spent most of her life in Green Bay. She devoted 25 years of her life as an area director for The Northeast Special Olympics. Mrs. Kendall was preceded in death by her mother, Concetta Mayhall.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald A. Kendall and his wife, Jody, of Green Bay, John F. Kendall and his wife, Heather, of Indianapolis; her father, James R. Mayhall of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Rose Mailhes, Margaret Garner and Ann Butler, all of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren, Collin, Bailey, Lacy and Shayna Kendall.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m., Monday at Star of the Sea Catholic Church by William V. Sullivan. Interment will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral apartments, and at the home of Margaret Garner, 1018 Colonial Meadows Way, Virginia Beach, at other times. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite Special Olympic Charity. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
