Betty June Albertson, 69, of the 1000 block of West Ocean View Ave., was called home by the Lord on May 31, 1996.
Mrs. Albertson was the daughter of the late Emma Will and the late William Arndt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Albertson, and their daughter, Betty Kent Albertson.
Mrs. Albertson was employed by Max Media of Virginia Beach where she had many beloved friends. She was very active in fellowship at Miles Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, William Edward Albertson of Virginia Beach and Richard Kent Albertson of Norfolk; a daughter, Sherry Lane Albertson of Norfolk; her adored granddaughter, Taylor Megan Albertson of Virginia Beach; her sisters-in-law, Mary A. Grigg of Norfolk and Dorothy R. Albertson of Lanett, Ala.; a brother-in-law, Robert Albertson; as well as many relatives and friends.
Her loving nature was an inspiration to her family and her devotion to her husband, children, and most beloved granddaughter, Taylor, will be cherished always. Her loving spirit touched all that knew her and she will be dearly loved and deeply missed forever.
A church service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Miles Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Morris A. Bennett. Burial will be private. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad in appreciation of their efforts and kindness, the Miles Memorial Children's Sunday School, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
