Joseph Burnett, of Route 1, died June 4, 1996.
Mr. Burnett, a native of Norlina, was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Oine, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Willa J. Burnett; a son, Rev. Arthur Burnett of Emporia, Va.; a sister, Maggie Kearney of Camden, N.J.; two brothers, Rufus Burnett and Rev. Robert Burnett, both of Warrenton, N.C.; and a grandson.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Burial is in the church cemetery. Chatman Funeral Home, Norfolk, furnished the information.
