Alex Maman Bucsit, 21, of the 5100 block of Stratford Chase Drive, died June 6, 1996, in Chesapeake.
He was a bookkeeper for Southland Corporation. Mr. Bucsit was a native of Portsmouth and a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach. He was a 1992 graduate of Kempsville High School and a member of the National Honor Society.
He is survived by his mother, Ofelia M. Bucsit; father, Henry V. Bucsit, both of Virginia Beach; and sister, Amy M. Bucsit of Virginia Beach. Alex is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Danny Kesner in St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach. Burial is in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach, today and Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
