Lavinia Golden Brown, 82, of the 1300 block of Maltby Ave., died May 20, 1996.
Survivors include a son, Charles E. Dean of Sterling, Va.; a grandchild, Ronzale M. Dean of Denver; and a daughter-in-law, Starris Dean of Sterling.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services, Inc., Virginia Beach.
