Carolyn Sue Ellis Boykin, 57, died Friday, June 7, 1996. She was born Jan. 1, 1939.
Survivors include a son, Bryant Gibson of Wilson; her parents, Herman and Louise Ellis of Milwaukee, N.C.; two sisters, Ruth Ellis Wood of Suffolk and Linda Ellis Van of Conway, N.C.; three brothers, William B. ``Buddy'' Ellis of Sedley, Va., Charles Daniel ``Dani'' Ellis of Franklin, Va., and Gerald Ellis of Murfreesboro, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in First Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Wayne King. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Joyner's Funeral Home and other times the family will be at 2401 St. John Drive.
