Police seek help in finding the driver and the pickup involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed a 67-year-old man Tuesday.
Police said the victim, George Waller of Hampton, was hit by the truck about 11:35 p.m. Tuesday at Pembroke and Childs avenues. He died from massive head injuries just after midnight. Police are looking for a medium- to dark-blue Chevy S-10 or a GMC Sonoma pickup that is missing the driver's side mirror. The truck probably has a damaged windshield and damage to a smoke-colored glass bug shield that was on the front.
Anyone with information should call police at 727-6111 or Crime Line at 722-9800.
