Carolyn Holbrook, 73, of Virginia Beach, died June 10, 1996, in her residence.
A native of Castlewood, Va., Mrs. Holbrook was retired from the Central Intelligence Agency.
Survivors include her husband, Howard N. Holbrook; two sons, John A. Holbrook of Houston and Mark E. Holbrook of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Ethel Hale Evans of Arlington, Va., and Nora B. Hale of Bristol, Va.; a brother, Roy E. Hale of Arlington; and two grandchildren, Kaitlin E. Holbrook and Christopher Law Holbrook, both of Virginia Beach.
A chapel service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Clark Mandigo. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the M.E. Cox Center, 644 North Lynnhaven Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
