Floyd U. Walke, of the 400 block of Fenchurch St., died June 11, 1996, in Norfolk Community Hospital.
Mr. Walke was born in Virginia Beach and was a delivery man for Grand Furniture.
Survivors include his wife, Lossie B. Walke; two daughters, Shirley White and Lossie Board, both of Norfolk; two sons, Floyd Walke of Norfolk and James Walke of Chesapeake; a stepson, George Cooper of Portsmouth; a sister, Pauline Covington of Chesapeake; 11 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Dr. C.V. Russell officiating. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. The family will assemble at the residence at 10 a.m. Friday for the procession.
