While I usually prefer to see local writers featured in the Another View column, I was glad you gave the space to Kate Michelman (June 1), president of the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League.
I enjoyed reading Ms. Michelman's statistics on why pro-choicers can't support Bob Dole, for we pro-lifers can turn the statistics around to make the case for why he should be our candidate!
Mr. Dole voted pro-life on 107 of 113 votes cast, eh? Good for him! He voted against the use of federal money for abortions in the U.S military medical facilities overseas, eh? What a guy! He joined the majority to vote against the egregious partial-birth abortion method, eh? My kind of candidate.
