James Lewis Davis, of the 2000 block of Queen Catherine Court, died June 10, 1996. Born in Smithfield, Va., he was employed by the city of Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Olivia P. Davis; a stepdaughter, Robin A. Green of Virginia Beach; a stepson, Ernest D. Chesson of Virginia Beach; a sister, Dorothy M. Wilson of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Joseph E. Johnson and Robert L. Johnson, both of Virginia Beach, and George T. Davis of Chesapeake; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, by the Rev. Charles Williams. Burial is in Saints Rest Cemetery, Virginia Beach.
